Here are a few hints to help you use your
FastSearch-CFR:
When you want to print a single regulation, all
you need to do is click your curser anywhere in the text of the
regulation (not the header), and click on print. The only time this will
not work is if there is a table or formula within that regulation.
Looking for Maid service in New York . Disciplines Will Assist You can buy research papers on the widest range of subjects.
When you want to print a regulation with a table
or formula within it, or you want to print several regulations, your
best option is to use the TAG feature; The TAG feature has been
added to make printing or saving a regulation much easier.
Instead of blocking a section to print it out, you can now click on the
TAG button on the top of your screen. Clicking on Tag is like blocking
an entire section. Print like normal (the printer changes its default to
tagged printing when you use a tag). You may tag one or more sections or
tables, and tagged areas will be indicated with a line along the tagged
area. You may wish to confirm that everything you wished to print is
tagged before you print it, since Tags will stop at a table or formula.
When you print, you NEVER want to choose the
selection "VIEW" in the print box. This will print out the
entire CFR title (40 CFR has about 20,000 pages!).
When you wish to print just a paragraph or more
than just a single regulation, you may block that area by clicking the
curser where you want to start the printing and holding down on your
shift key and holding down the down arrow or page down to get to the
bottom of what you want printed. When the area you want has been
highlighted, click on print.
The following will give you a brief overview of what each
of your buttons on the top of each screen does, just in case you forgot about a
feature and how it works:
